Rhiyan Quiton, PsyD
Executive Director
Dr. Quiton is Interim’s Executive Director. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. He has worked as a manager in the public behavioral health systems in Kern and Monterey counties. Dr. Quiton has extensive experience providing direct service, supervision, training, and administrative management in various public and private settings.
Carmen Torres-Alfaro, LMFT
Deputy Director
Carmen Torres-Alfaro, LMFT, is Interim’s Deputy Director. Carmen joined Interim, Inc. in 2001 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a dual bachelor's degree in social welfare and psychology. With over 21 years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked throughout the agency in multiple positions of program leadership, gaining extensive knowledge of our agency programs and the local behavioral health system. While working with Interim, Carmen obtained her Master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2011 and a clinical license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2018.
Mark Alexakos, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Alexakos is Interim, Inc.’s Medical Director. Dr. Alexakos received his Doctor of Medicine in 1995 from the University of Chicago with a focus on psychiatry. He has extensive experience as the medical director for both counties and hospitals and as the lead psychiatrist.
Jane Odegard, PsyD, LMFT, LPCC, CPRP
Clinical Services & Program Development Officer
Dr. Odegard is Interim’s Clinical Services & Program Development Officer. Dr. Odegard has more than 30 years of mental health services experience. Dr. Odegard began working at Interim in 2004 as a Program Coordinator and later as Program Director for our dual diagnosis treatment for ten years. She served as the Deputy Director from 2015 to 2022. As Clinical Services & Program Development Officer, Dr. Odegard provides clinical supervision, consultation, and program development, implementation, and evaluation. Jane has a Doctorate in Psychology and a master’s in counseling psychology, and several distinguished licenses and certifications including LMFT, LPCC, CPRP.
Jordan Jack, LCSW
Intake Manager
Jordan began her work with Interim in 2014 as an MSW Intern, and she was hired as Interim’s first Behavioral Health Clinician upon graduating with her Master's in Social Work degree from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2015. After completing her clinical hours, Jordan moved into Interim’s Quality Assurance department in 2018 and obtained her License in Clinical Social Work in 2019. She has been the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Intake Manager since 2022. In her almost nine years with Interim, she has developed valuable relationships with Monterey County Behavioral Health and other community partners.
